Qualification Description:

This qualification reflects the role of individuals who diagnose, analyse, evaluate, design and modify vehicle systems in the automotive retail, service and repair industry.

The AUR32721 Certificate III in Automotive Electric Vehicle Technology (Light Vehicle) qualification is for students who want to develop their skills and knowledge in servicing, diagnosing and repairing battery electric vehicles and components in the automotive, service and repair industry who carry out work according to Australian Standards (AS) 5732 Electric vehicle operations Maintenance and repair.

Entry requirements:

INTERNATIONAL

English requirements: Completion of year 11 or equivalent. (Subject to the assessment and approval of UTA Institute of Technology Admission team.)

  • Successful completion of minimum Year 11 in Australia or equivalent in student’s country of origin OR
  • Holders of an AQF qualification level III and above OR
  • Applicants with no formal qualification and have experience within the industry may also be considered.
  • Be 18 years of age or above
  • A minimum English level of IELTS 5 or equivalent.
